Tahrir Square Foundation Launch Event: A Fireside Chat with Wael Ghonim.

On April 27, the Tahrir Square Foundation hosted Wael Ghonim, the internet activist who helped spark the Egyptian Revolution and had just topped Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People of 2010. Democracy Now!'s Sharif Kouddous, who reported live from Tahrir Square throughout the protests, interviewed Ghonim at a kick-off fundraiser at New York's perennial modern Egyptian restaurant, Casa La Femme. The Black Swan of Cairo

The Tahrir Square Foundation is pleased to host "The Black Swan of Cairo", a special luncheon featuring Nassim Taleb, world renowned scholar and author of the Black Swan, to mark the occasion of the one year anniversary of the Egyptian Revolution. The luncheon will take place in Harvard Hall at the Harvard Club of New York at noon on Wednesday, January 25, 2012.
